Privacy Policy for Daily Health
Last Updated: April 8, 2026
Your privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy governs your use of Daily Health (the "Application"), a mobile software application designed to help you track and manage key health metrics. The Application enables you to record blood pressure readings, height, and weight (obtained from external monitoring devices) to generate basic health analysis, and to measure your heart rate using your mobile device’s camera. By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree to the collection, use, and disclosure practices described in this policy, which complies with applicable privacy regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), as well as Apple’s App Store privacy requirements.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve our services, and we never collect more information than is required. Below is a detailed breakdown of the data types we may collect:
1.1 Personal Data
The Application is completely registration-free. We do not request, collect, or store any personally identifiable information (PII) that can be used to contact or identify you, including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, address, or social media profiles. No PII is ever required to use any feature of the Application.
1.2 Health Data
When you use the Application to record health metrics (including blood pressure, height, weight, BMI, and heart rate), you are not required to provide any personal identification information. All health data you input is stored locally on your mobile device—it is never uploaded to any cloud server, shared with any third-party organizations, or used for any purpose beyond your personal health tracking. This ensures your health data remains private and under your complete control, in line with best practices for health app privacy protection.
1.3 Device Information
When you access the Application through a mobile device, we may automatically collect certain non-personal, device-related information to improve the user experience and ensure the Application functions properly. This information includes, but is not limited to:
- Mobile device model, screen size, and OEM name
- Unique device identifier (non-identifiable to you personally)
- Mobile device IP address (used only for technical troubleshooting)
- Operating system version, time zone, and system language
- Carrier country/region and carrier name
- Regional settings and country/region (to align with local compliance requirements)
1.4 Data for Analytics & Feature Improvement
To enhance the Application’s performance and user experience, we have integrated data statistics tools. These tools do not collect any health data or personal data—they only collect non-identifiable device and application usage information, which is used solely for: (i) crash positioning (to identify and fix technical issues), (ii) A/B testing of new features and designs, and (iii) general usage analytics to improve functionality. The specific data collected for these purposes includes:
- Device information (as listed in Section 1.3)
- Application information (name, version, version number, SDK name, and SDK version)
2. AI Feature Privacy Statement
The Application may include AI-powered features to provide basic health insights and support your health management. We are committed to protecting your privacy in connection with these AI features, and we adhere to Apple’s requirements for transparent AI data usage. To clarify:
- We never transmit any personal privacy data (including PII) to any AI server. No personally identifiable information is shared with or processed by our AI systems.
- The only data that may be uploaded to our AI server (if you explicitly and voluntarily choose to do so) is the health metrics you input—specifically, blood pressure, BMI, and heart rate data. This data is completely stripped of any personal identification information and is used solely to generate personalized health insights for your own use.
- Your choice to upload health data to the AI server is fully voluntary. You may use all core features of the Application without uploading any data to the AI server, and you may revoke your consent to upload data at any time.
- Uploaded health data (without personal identifiers) is not shared with any third parties, used for AI model training, or retained longer than necessary to provide the requested AI insights.
3. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party service providers to support the Application’s functionality, including analytics and advertising. These third parties are bound by strict data protection obligations and are prohibited from collecting, using, or disclosing your personal or health data for any purpose beyond what is necessary to provide their services to us.
3.1 Analytics
We may use third-party analytics services to monitor and analyze usage of the Application. These services only collect non-identifiable device and usage data (as described in Section 1.4) to help us understand how users interact with the Application and improve its performance.
3.2 Advertising
We may use third-party advertising service providers to display ads in the Application, which helps support and maintain the service. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver relevant ads, but they do not have access to your health data or personal information.
- Google AdSense and DoubleClick Cookies: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads in the Application. You can manage your cookie preferences through your device settings.
- Google AdMob: Google AdMob (provided by Google Inc.) may be used to deliver ads. Google’s privacy policy governs the use of data by AdMob.
- Behavioral Remarketing: Third-party companies may use remarketing services to display ads to you on other websites after you visit the Application. We and these vendors use non-identifiable cookies to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on past visits, but no personal or health data is used for this purpose.
- Google Ads (AdWords): Google Ads remarketing services (provided by Google Inc.) may be used for targeted advertising, in compliance with Google’s privacy standards.
- Facebook: Facebook remarketing services (provided by Facebook Inc.) may be used for targeted advertising, in compliance with Facebook’s privacy policy.
4. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable laws (including Apple’s App Store compliance requirements). When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
- We will notify you by a prominent notice within the Application prior to the changes becoming effective. If the changes are significant, we may also notify you via additional means (where applicable).
- Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
5. Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback about this Privacy Policy, or about how we handle your data, please contact us through the email contact link provided within the Application. We will respond to your inquiry promptly and address any issues to ensure your privacy is protected.
By using Daily Health, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to our data collection and use practices.
